Certainly the best pub in Berkshire, and possibly the best pub in Britain. I've even heard someone assert that it's the best pub in the world. I'm not sure how much research went into the latter assertion, but it has been CAMRA's pub of the year.

An evening with Garston Gallopers at The Bell is one of the highlights of my year - and so it was this year!
