I
had hoped that the line would be re-opened between
Medstead&Four Marks and Alton by the end of July, but
this has been delayed due to difficulties with the bridge
replacement in Alton.
As it turned out, there was quite enough railway for our
purposes
This is newly-overhauled S15-class No 506, looking splendid

a bit more cramped.
We managed to equal the record for the number of people
squeezed into the carriages on the miniature railway (19)

the front and rear of locomotives.

Thomas was at home - back
from one of his jaunts to far-away places.
He goes to Denmark, Belgium and even the Isle of Wight.

Ann took this one too -
don't know why she was tittering. |

Platform 9 3/4 at Kings Cross, where the Hogwarts Express
