OBJ first danced at Swanage in 1997 and we haven't missed one since
This one was just as good as all the others with lovely weather, good
company and an appreciative audience. We did all the same old things - why
spoil a recipe when it works!
OBJ comprised: Ali, Ann, Ann O, Anna, Chris, Chris D, Colin, Clare,
Claudia, Eddie, Emma, Gill, Ian, IanO, Joe, Kelly, Marian, MaryAnn, MikeG, MikeS, Philip, Tony and Vera with a little help from our friends Andy,
Martin and Jan
8th September 2013
Swanage Folk Festival
Dance: Worcestershire Monkey
Massed dance including OBJ, Wicket Brood, Fox's, Exmoor,
Borderline (Berks) plus another side I can't remember.
There are 8 sets, making 48 dancers plus countless musicians. The
musicians include the dance's creators Jan and Martin. Martin
announced the dance loudly enough so that people in Bournemouth
would know it was starting!
Traditionally, the last dance of Swanage Folk Festival before the
customary aquatic dances.

Our biggest, littlest, fan

Wicket Brood joined us for a mixed set of "Just as the tide was
a'flowing"
