8th September 2013
Swanage Folk Festival
Dance: Worcestershire Monkey
Massed dance including OBJ, Wicket Brood, Fox's, Exmoor,
Borderline (Berks) plus another side I can't remember.
There are 8 sets, making 48 dancers plus countless musicians. The
musicians include the dance's creators Jan and Martin. Martin
announced the dance loudly enough so that people in Bournemouth
would know it was starting!
Traditionally, the last dance of Swanage Folk Festival before the
customary aquatic dances.
