St George's Day at the Bull, Stanford Dingley with Shinfield Shambles

Artistic photography!

Well all right, we left the camera in macro mode, but it highlights the ephemeral nature of human existence.

It got dark quickly in April. Here's Sheepskins, being danced by Tiff, Jerry, Kelly, Jill, Adrian, Tony and Mike.

The dark suited some creatures!

A Lime Hawk Moth (I think) with about 8cm wingspan. It seemed to enjoy the morris.

Slough Public Library's Medieval Magic Day
11th October 2003

John Betjeman wrote: "Come, friendly bombs, and fall on Slough". Mr Betjeman was a man of impeccable judgement in most things, but why pick on a delightful place like Slough?

We had an excellent day there - we're posed here in experimental face make-up with Bethel and her mum.

Below, Nikki, Colin and Chris model the experimental look.

Quite an interesting article on Mr Betjeman
